FRESH ARRIVALS: 3 KILOS, 2024: A collage made from a Food & Drink magazine using photographs of iced drinks in glasses, grazing sheep, soap bubbles, cellared wine casks, and fresh blackberries. The text reads “FRESH ARRIVALS: 3 KILOS / Welcome to the room opposite four brick walls / Janus-faced laboratory products, twisted cables, / bruise-coloured herring, bream and cod. / A celebration of inexorable clockwork indifference, attack, decay and intonation / No smoke. / salt barrels and coils of rope, the DISCOLOURING / monotony of birch and moss. / floral, abrasive choking— / muzzle flashes, rapid fire. / Your dog will supply the hydrogen peroxide, / you assemble the scapegoats.”

KEEP AN EYE OUT, 2025: A collage on purple paper with seven stars cut out of the top of it using a hole punch. In the middle of the page, there is a scrap photo of a rocky hill. The text reads “KEEP AN EYE OUT / something worn out, symphonic structures at a time of fissure / — metaphysical implications infiltrating in slow looping sweeps — / industrial ambiences and synthetic rivers of boiling blood!* / across countless different soils, thousands of people trying to / dig fingers into polished granite. / brickworks chimneys, / roosting starlings, / a regimented world of discipline, / rigidly mathematical.” At the bottom, there are four photos of chemical cabinets and the text “*or dangerous corrosives and acids”

The text reads, “Blackish flukes with ripe currants, / static crackles, / machine and animal under the low bridge, / something monolithic. / There is no causality: a flash on the horizon, / industrial machinery admixtures of jazz.”

Poem collaged from a Christian propaganda book, 2022: A collage on red paper featuring two flower images. The text, underlined at random intervals in red pen, reads “How sad it must be to be God: / create the whole universe; / We must move to mere bodies—develop “psiwork” found through fluctuation.⁸ / The official world view / Neo-Marxist clockwork universe become prophetic / ☐ Overwhelming aesthetic experience: music, theater, art. / the Christ of Physics? / WRONG. WRONG. WRONG future / She is nothing but / the consensus. / This should cause us to shudder in horror. / Amen AMEN Amen”
Poem collaged from books, 2020: A collage on a picture of a cat with a yellow background. The cat has been outlined with black permanent marker, and the collage looks a little worse for wear, with some words obviously torn off or damaged. The text reads “He was only half listening to her. / there was blood and mess all over his face. / His hands were sore — / a gash on one of his knuckles / seeped a little blood / His anger was / weightless and slightly out of control / and his legs felt alive. / Pink fluid coming out of his system / stained the day with its violence. / For the second time, brass knuckles / clanged in the air, and open seconds / were uncomfortable and slightly sick.”

Photozine about local lichens, 2023: An eight-page zine. Each page features a photo of a different species of lichen with a description of its location on the University of Windsor campus. The species included are Candelaria concolor, Physcia stellaris, Xanthoria parietina, Flavoparmelia caperata, Caloplaca feracissima, Parmelia sulcata, Lecanora caesiorubella, and Physcia millegrana. Text in the middle of the page reads “Lichens cover an estimated 6-8% of Earth’s surface. Let’s take a look at some species you can see right here on our campus! All photos taken March 28, 2023.”

Cyanotype and linocut on scrap fabric, 2024: A piece of white fabric with raw edges, mostly painted with a slightly washed-out blue. On top of the blue is a stamped design in red ink featuring 8 fish and the text “All that’s left is to / sharpen the knife”. Beneath the stamp is a texture of red ink made by rolling a brayer directly on the fabric.
